WHO ARE WE?
While faithfully serving his Abundant Life Cathedral COGIC under Bishop Stenneth Powell, Pastor Braxton Bowser was commissioned by the Holy Spirit to start a ministry in Knightdale NC.
Not really knowing where to begin, Pastor Bowser sought direction from the Lord and counsel from Bishop Powell. After fervent prayer and lucid instructions from God, on December 1st, 2004 Pastor Bowser started a Bible Study in the waiting room of a local barbershop. Pastor Bowser taught God's Word with clarity and excitement to the five attendees.
The Bible Study class grew so quickly that the attendees often had to sit in the barber chairs due to the lack of space. Pastor Bowser remained faithful and planned to officially start a church in 2006; however, while in bed one night, the Holy Spirit woke him at 4 am and commissioned him to establish The Agape Christian Center Church on Easter Sunday, March 27th, 2005.
Under the leadership of Pastor Bowser, Agape has grown in number and in Spirit!

About Our Pastor
WHAT WE BELIEVE?
1. The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
2. That there is one God, eternally existent in Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
3. In The Blessed Hope, which is The Rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return.
4. That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.
5. That regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
6. That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer.
7. That the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
8. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world.
